Well, let’s add Maine to the map of The United Hates Of America. I think by denying Gay people their right to marry should be deemed a “Hate Crime,” because it has become a form of “Emotional Genocide” against a single group of tax paying Americans.…

First off, I’m not a “know-it-all,” but I know a lot. I’m sorry if that’s bothersome to a few people, but it’s who and how I am. If I come across as a person who feels he has to “impose” his opinion on a lot of things, it’s only because I have much…

As in anything in life, you get out of it what you put in. The same goes for people you choose as friendships or in relationships. The manner in which you treat others reflects how you will be treated, in most cases. If you treat others well you wil…

Someone recently asked me when “Real” change would come. I said it already has begun with the election of Barack Obama as President of The United States, although he is only the Hope of Change. One man cannot bring about change, no matter how much w…

About Me

I am a very loving and caring man, seeking the same. I'm not flashy, just me. I'd love someone who will care about me as much as I do him. Whenever he enters the room I know my eyes will light up. He doesn't need to be well-built, or a male model, just a decent guy willing to share his heart with me. It seems like I've been waiting my whole life to meet him, been in a few bad relationships, but still holding onto the hope that one day we will finally be together. I am open, honest, and a decent guy - if you're out there, here I am. All I want is a Friend, A Lover, and A companion. If you'd like to know more, feel free to ask.

A Loving Christmas Letter To My Beautiful Friends

My Beautiful Friends,
I have had the pleasure of experiencing a lot of Love
and Friendship on this and other sites, especially this
past year, and hopefully it will continue through 2010.
Some might call me a lonely, old man seeking someone or
something he’ll never find on any website, or maybe even
in life. I, on the other hand, consider myself Blessed for
having met ( even if only on-line) so many great people ,
both young and old. I’m glad I am able to accept people as
they are and they have… Continue

The Power of A Smile, The Gift of Faith

Throughout my years, I’ve had some really good Thanksgivings, both heartwarming and memorable. As the years have gone by, however, the holiday has lost some of it’s significance in my life, especially when I see stores setting up their Christmas displays in October, leaving Thanksgiving just a day of sales, feasting, and football. That’s pretty much how it seems to me. I usually end up working on Thanksgiving which only adds to my, “just another day” mind set. I don’t mind, though, Because up un… Continue

Happy Thanksgiving To All

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING,
BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP.
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS,
I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED -
THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE,
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION
WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.

TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR,
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING S… Continue

Ignorance and Fear

For as long as I can remember, there have always been two things which, sadly enough, our own government has used to get the general population to go along with it on whatever policies it has proposed, Especially during times of uncertainty.
Ignorance and Fear have always been the biggest allies in any government’s ability to control it’s people.
Fear is a great motivator in keeping people focused on whatever threat, whether real or imagined. If you can instill fear in your people, you can prett… Continue

Assorted Humor

A friend at work said to me, “ I think I’ve lost my mind,” to which I replied, “Well, it is a very small object in a very large space!”

Next time you’re annoying someone and they tell you, “Cut the shit,” be sure to reply, “ Why do you want to lick the knife?”

Some years back, every football season, without fail, I would be sitting watching a game and my brother would always come in and ask, “ What’s the score?” I would reply with something like, “24 to 14,” or whatever the score happened to… Continue
